ABOUT THUNDERHANDS

About Me: "Wakiya" (Thunder)
I am a Tribal, Musician, Writer, Artist. I try to walk the path and have studied the tradition of the "Wisdom keepers" like Lame Deer, Fools Crow, Black Elk, and Rolling Thunder from the tribes of this region, and Lao Tzu, Buddha, Bodhidharma, Yeshua, and other enlightened ones from the many various tribes of the earth. I understand the worlds religions and belief systems, and realize the division this can cause by the lack of understanding the "real message" from the Masters. My intention, and life's prayer is to try to live in harmony with Grandmother Earth, Grandfather sky, (Nature) and "the spirit that moves in all things," and help in any way I can to build a bridge between all men and tribes so they can walk their path in a manner that will benefit themselves, the Earth and others. I open up, and ask Great Spirit, The creator, The Tao, The Universe, to work and direct healing and positive energy through me by different means, like the Flute, drums, Words, Prayer, and Touch. I try to be loving and accept others from the heart, and practice forgiveness. I honor all people, the winged one's, and four legged ones considering us all equal, not one being above another. I honor the bountiful Harvest from Mother earth in the form of plant life, water, air and herbs which sustain our oneness with her. I pray all tribes should re-unite as one, so we may protect the planet and live in harmony. Within you, without you.

Spiritual Tracking and Backtracking

I Have been going over tom Brown Jr's books lately on tracking. On this read I am seeing applications on a spiritual level. One of the messages that is coming through to me is back tracking or looking at what what kind of "life tracks" you have left prior to this moment in time. By analyzing your tracks you can see how you have been walking the path up to this point. When you look at at your own track you can see subtleties that can give you clues to the questions that might be cropping up in your life now. Do you feel unbalanced, or maybe indecisive as to the path your on or how to walk that path.

When a good tracker looks at someone's tracks he sees things no one else sees. He might look at a footprint and notice a slightly deeper furrow on one side indicating things such as balance when walking, or maybe the person or animal was lame and favored one foot etc. If your a really good tracker you can determine how much change is in the guys pockets. So look at your past tracks, in the form of attitudes, missteps, and things that you might have done that brought you to now. Maybe you strayed down a wrong path and suffered a fall, or had to correct course. Maybe you fell a couple of times and didn't learn the right way of walking so as not to fall again. Do you keep stubbing your toe because you refuse to walk softly? There is no sense in walking a walk that doesn't work for us.

By looking at the tracks in our life as a continuum, we can better determine the outcome, or even change it. We can make adjustments to our stride, or maybe walk like a cat instead of an elephant. Maybe we can become more aware of our surroundings, and even our beliefs. Do we believe that there is a monster just around the corner and walk in fear, or are we fearless because we know to handle monsters from past experience. Good trackers are prepared for any contingency so whatever happens can be dealt with in the proper manor.

Be a spiritual tracker as well as a physical one. Study tracking and the ways of nature and apply what you learn to your life on a spiritual level. We can even watch the animals and their tracks and habits, learning from and applying them in our lives. Being in tune with nature and how it effects our nature will put us in oneness with the cosmos and our universal mind. If we get lost in a forest we can always backtrack to find our way out! May your path be filled with joy and wonderment as you traverse the road of life leading to the gateway of the next dimension.
