ABOUT THUNDERHANDS

About Me: "Wakiya" (Thunder)
I am a Tribal, Musician, Writer, Artist. I try to walk the path and have studied the tradition of the "Wisdom keepers" like Lame Deer, Fools Crow, Black Elk, and Rolling Thunder from the tribes of this region, and Lao Tzu, Buddha, Bodhidharma, Yeshua, and other enlightened ones from the many various tribes of the earth. I understand the worlds religions and belief systems, and realize the division this can cause by the lack of understanding the "real message" from the Masters. My intention, and life's prayer is to try to live in harmony with Grandmother Earth, Grandfather sky, (Nature) and "the spirit that moves in all things," and help in any way I can to build a bridge between all men and tribes so they can walk their path in a manner that will benefit themselves, the Earth and others. I open up, and ask Great Spirit, The creator, The Tao, The Universe, to work and direct healing and positive energy through me by different means, like the Flute, drums, Words, Prayer, and Touch. I try to be loving and accept others from the heart, and practice forgiveness. I honor all people, the winged one's, and four legged ones considering us all equal, not one being above another. I honor the bountiful Harvest from Mother earth in the form of plant life, water, air and herbs which sustain our oneness with her. I pray all tribes should re-unite as one, so we may protect the planet and live in harmony. Within you, without you.

Sleep Walking & turning a blind eye

On this eve of the new year let us not sleepwalk any longer, let us not close our eyes to the plight of the homeless, the injustice in the world and the destruction of the planet and its natural surroundings. Whatever your passion is regarding these issues, let it be known. Take action in the best way you know how. Nobody seems to have the answers to creating unity, and dispersing the negative forces in the world we live in. If it is ever to be done, it won't be with complacency. If your way is to change the collective consciousness of the world don't dally any longer. Speak out, unite with your fellow man and don't think you are alone. I run into people every day who seem to be waking up. Both young and old.

Just when I think people don't care I will run into someone, or start a conversation with a stranger and find out that they do care. They just don't know what to do! I have studied the worlds history and religions and there is always someone who wants to put their foot on the necks of those who are in most need. There is always some government that wants to control another land and its people. There are always the tyrants that kill for greed and control. Their wars are not honorable, they are not for the good of the people. Is any war honorable? Maybe! Even in peaceful revolutions like those led by Ghandi and others, some of the demonstrators lose their lives, so that was a different kind of war. We try as a people to fend off by resistance those who would take our freedoms and rape the earth. The more people that wake up the better chance we will have, to change things.

Can change ever come about? I have seen change come about by consciousness and action. It happened in the sixties. Some say nothing has changed, but think about how it might have been now had that not happened. It didn't just come from thinking good thoughts. Demonstrators burned their draft cards, marched in the streets, got arrested, beaten bloody, and thrown in jail. Music also played a big part in the change and there was a musical revolution as well, with potent thought provoking lyrics. What happened to all that? Where did it go? Is it laying dormant in the hearts of men? Even most of the music now is in a go nowhere say nothing mode. Don't turn a blind eye and carry on with business as if everything is normal. Don't think the government is going to fix this! Yes there are good people working from within, but the ones that care are in the minority. And yes there are good government programs, but they are dwindling, because of budget problems, greed, and our past catching up with us. Wake up people! Maybe just maybe it's not to late!

Integrity is my goal Thunder. The enjoining, no, more, the One Beingness of both Spirit and Body, Ego and Soul, joy and sadness. A homeless person or a person attacked and beaten and/or raped is a physical being in a worldly cosmos. It's real, and the Real One, I believe must be real present within the helpers in order for real/Real Healing to evolve. Illusions may abound, but there is always something real within the lie. Nothing is without a cause, reason, purpose. The Tao, The Spirit of Life, leaves nothing out in One, from the mundane/profane to the sacred/mysticism. From the known to the Unknown. My goal is more than balance and even more than harmony, though both are very desirable. My goal is nondualism. My goal is Integrity. Why? Well, at least it helps me to be Whole and therefore more adept and caring for all the people I can help. Empathy: To receive it, is to be blessed; to give it is to be within a true act of Grace. So, I believe and have faith in One Integral Essence, a Sensibility and Sensitivity that can escape narrow humans and that free-spirit humans are always just a fraction of a nano-inch from touching. Feel free to offer me your thoughts and feelings. Of course, always. With honor and deep thanks, Arrow

Suggestion: Read or try to see Samuel Beckett's: End Game. Absurdist theatre similar to Waiting for Godot, also by Beckett. Throw-a-way-people.
All the throw-a-way-people, just didn't make the "cut" so we cut 'em out of the circle of striving to thrive; now they barely survive. Throw-a-way-people--whose fault is that? Blame the damned system. Blame you, blame me, blame God, blame the damn the bum who stinks like dead game. Yeah folks! Keep on blaming and blaming and listen to the sound of a freezing body with guts that churn against their own empty starving barely surviving, waiting to die--Mercy! I have some bread and butter--here, eat. I have an extra blanket. Here, be warm. I have a huge society with a big fat corporate government--here, have a home, have a life, be my friend. . . .I love when the Tao reflects its Sun in the Mirror of Life Striving to be more Humane.
