Whatever you are doing in the now, say it to yourself out loud. If your are washing the dishes, say out loud I am washing the dishes. If you are having thoughts about washing the dishes say them out them out loud. "I hate washing the dishes " or "washing the dishes is fun." If you scratch your nose say "I am scratching my nose" Do that with everything, even feelings. "I feel down right now," or "I feel lonely right now." Pretty soon it becomes a monitoring device, a walking moving meditation. Then you can readily see what thoughts are coming up. Pretty soon you don't have to say it out loud anymore. Thoughts from actions and actions from thoughts become apparent. Once they become apparent you can make choices to change them for your well being and benefit. Or you can say I replace that thought with, this thought, or I will replace this feeling with another. Meditative Bio feed back. See if it works for you. You having nothing to loose.

I get it. It's not as tedious as I thought it was. It's a way to develop self-awareness. Through these exercises, so-to-speak, I can, or any person can set him or herself free to feel and think what he or she wants to feel or think. Great cure-all for obsessive fear and worry! Great idea for an anti-anxiety agent. Could stop depression dead in its tracks too. I call that spirituality. Yeah, I do. Why? Because I said so. :) Arrow
