ABOUT THUNDERHANDS

About Me: "Wakiya" (Thunder)
I am a Tribal, Musician, Writer, Artist. I try to walk the path and have studied the tradition of the "Wisdom keepers" like Lame Deer, Fools Crow, Black Elk, and Rolling Thunder from the tribes of this region, and Lao Tzu, Buddha, Bodhidharma, Yeshua, and other enlightened ones from the many various tribes of the earth. I understand the worlds religions and belief systems, and realize the division this can cause by the lack of understanding the "real message" from the Masters. My intention, and life's prayer is to try to live in harmony with Grandmother Earth, Grandfather sky, (Nature) and "the spirit that moves in all things," and help in any way I can to build a bridge between all men and tribes so they can walk their path in a manner that will benefit themselves, the Earth and others. I open up, and ask Great Spirit, The creator, The Tao, The Universe, to work and direct healing and positive energy through me by different means, like the Flute, drums, Words, Prayer, and Touch. I try to be loving and accept others from the heart, and practice forgiveness. I honor all people, the winged one's, and four legged ones considering us all equal, not one being above another. I honor the bountiful Harvest from Mother earth in the form of plant life, water, air and herbs which sustain our oneness with her. I pray all tribes should re-unite as one, so we may protect the planet and live in harmony. Within you, without you.

Miracles do happen

I met a gentleman today at starbucks in point loma, where I go almost every other day to have my morning tea and some kind of pastry, usually Banana nut bread. He approached and asked if I was Thunderhands. I said yes, and he said he had read my Blog and had one of my cards which indicated that I do Native American Spiritual readings. I asked him to sit down and we talked. I love talking to and revealing Native American images I see while talking to people. Without going into a lot of detail I learned of an incident, or should I say accident, that this man had experienced. If I remember everything correctly, he related how he was driving on a road up near the Truckee area, around or near Donner pass. As he was driving he happened to drive into an section where a rock slide was happening. A rock the size of a football crashed through his window hitting him in the head. He sustained severe injuries and was unconscious. But guess what? Right behind him in a car was a trauma nurse who saw the whole thing. She rushed to his aid and literally saved his life. He showed me the scars from the rock and the one from the emergency tracheotomy that had to be done to save his life and keep him from drowning in his own blood. I asked him if I could use his story on my Blog, and he gave me his permission. I wish to thank him for relating his story to me and giving me permission to use it. I believe people meet for a reason. Him and the nurse behind him in the car, his meeting me today, and on and on. People come into your life for a reason. I just want to say that I feel this person experienced a situation where he went to the other side and came back. I haven't confirmed this with him, but its a feeling that I have. He may not even remember. He had a gentle peaceful aura and in my opinion, he will end up helping others by writing his own book about the incident and other events in his life as well. I encourage him do to so. He seemed to be at peace, and I don't feel that from a lot of people. He is here for a reason, as we all are. This is what I like about my dedication to help my fellow man, by readings, talking, good conversation etc. Because it's a two way street, a healing takes place for both parties involved. Its good to know that on a higher level forces are at work creating miracles. Whether it was his higher self or his spirit guides, we are not alone. We think we are but we aren't. There are spiritual flows and forces all around us, all we need to do is be in tune with them and believe in them, and the "Tao" activates through us and good fortune comes about. This is like "Hochokan Wakan" or the sacred mound in lakota. An element of the sweat lodge. I told him life is like a sweat lodge because we are constantly going through a purification process, and if we are spiritual seekers, we see it in just that way. Nothing is by accident everything happens for a reason. It is through acceptance, being humble, and ridding ourselves of fear, guilt, and anger and living the path of the superior man that we attract the forces that are for our benefit. Miracles are just a beleif away! Have faith (the size of a mustard seed?) in that. I see this person helping many with his gentle spirit. He sure made my day. Thanks brother. I'm sure we will be talking again.
