While attending to government affairs, there are times when one notices violations of the law. Over looking such incidences and writing them off as trifles only leads to bigger problems It is to late to rectify the situation once the problem reaches serious proportions. Ironically, all state level crises are caused by overlooking these trifles.
There are two kinds of trifle: One is a mere trifle. The other is the kind that when unattended may have a negative effect on the whole system or organization. It is important to differentiate between the two.

Trifles overlooked, can be compared to not noticing the iceberg that sank the Titanic. This happened while steaming full speed ahead. Didn't we miss a few things right before 9/11 also?
