ABOUT THUNDERHANDS

About Me: "Wakiya" (Thunder)
I am a Tribal, Musician, Writer, Artist. I try to walk the path and have studied the tradition of the "Wisdom keepers" like Lame Deer, Fools Crow, Black Elk, and Rolling Thunder from the tribes of this region, and Lao Tzu, Buddha, Bodhidharma, Yeshua, and other enlightened ones from the many various tribes of the earth. I understand the worlds religions and belief systems, and realize the division this can cause by the lack of understanding the "real message" from the Masters. My intention, and life's prayer is to try to live in harmony with Grandmother Earth, Grandfather sky, (Nature) and "the spirit that moves in all things," and help in any way I can to build a bridge between all men and tribes so they can walk their path in a manner that will benefit themselves, the Earth and others. I open up, and ask Great Spirit, The creator, The Tao, The Universe, to work and direct healing and positive energy through me by different means, like the Flute, drums, Words, Prayer, and Touch. I try to be loving and accept others from the heart, and practice forgiveness. I honor all people, the winged one's, and four legged ones considering us all equal, not one being above another. I honor the bountiful Harvest from Mother earth in the form of plant life, water, air and herbs which sustain our oneness with her. I pray all tribes should re-unite as one, so we may protect the planet and live in harmony. Within you, without you.

Dedication of "The Wanderer"

This site which is an extension of "The Native American Taoist," is dedicated to The travelers and wanderers, the aliens in a foreign land. By this I mean, in the world but not of it. We recognize our situation as having one foot in the spirit world and one foot in the material.
We are spiritual seekers, and we travel the realms of the unknown. We are all about passing on whatever wisdom or help we can give to those on the path and off, in any way we can. We are spiritual warriors for the good of mankind and the planet. We recognize our connection to the "Universal Mind" as being one with it.
We choose not to enter into conflict but to stay in quiet harmony with the "higher power" or "Sage." We continually seek to serve the innocent and good. We honor the parable of the "Good Samaritan" from one of our enlightened teachers. We honor all masters who have been, and are enlightened, and seek to enlighten others.
Although we are peaceful and seek peaceful resolution, we will not tolerate injustice to our souls or the souls of the innocent. We carry the "sword of no sword," the sword of the spirit. We honor those with the high ideals of helping the poor, hungry, and downtrodden masses. We make these statements with all the humility, and modesty we can gather. We are not religious but we are spiritual! There are many faces and conceptions of what some call God, but we realize that it is all one spirit. Let that spirit be recognized as being within us all, it is time for the light to shine.

Send me your Poems, Poetry, Story.....
When offering material for this site, keep in mind the theme and purpose (see first post in archives, called dedication) of this Blog. It's all about nature, spirituality, traveling of all sorts. And by all sorts I mean mind trips too. Unusual experiences (near death, and spiritual) and encounters of the third Kind. Mother Earth and the planet in general. Kerouac "On the road" type stuff. Hippie and beat generation. Send it to the e-mail below and I will review it. Rather then putting it in a file or attachment, I would ask that you paste it right into the e-mail, or use HTML. Embed a photo of you (small) and if appropriate, your "subject photo" in the e-mail too! Most e-mail programs allow this.
After review I will deem whether or not it is suitable for this site. If you get a pass on your stuff, don't be bummed out or think it isn't good enough, it's all about my taste and if it fits with the program, or maybe it will get in later.
Peace and love Brothers and sisters
