ABOUT THUNDERHANDS

About Me: "Wakiya" (Thunder)
I am a Tribal, Musician, Writer, Artist. I try to walk the path and have studied the tradition of the "Wisdom keepers" like Lame Deer, Fools Crow, Black Elk, and Rolling Thunder from the tribes of this region, and Lao Tzu, Buddha, Bodhidharma, Yeshua, and other enlightened ones from the many various tribes of the earth. I understand the worlds religions and belief systems, and realize the division this can cause by the lack of understanding the "real message" from the Masters. My intention, and life's prayer is to try to live in harmony with Grandmother Earth, Grandfather sky, (Nature) and "the spirit that moves in all things," and help in any way I can to build a bridge between all men and tribes so they can walk their path in a manner that will benefit themselves, the Earth and others. I open up, and ask Great Spirit, The creator, The Tao, The Universe, to work and direct healing and positive energy through me by different means, like the Flute, drums, Words, Prayer, and Touch. I try to be loving and accept others from the heart, and practice forgiveness. I honor all people, the winged one's, and four legged ones considering us all equal, not one being above another. I honor the bountiful Harvest from Mother earth in the form of plant life, water, air and herbs which sustain our oneness with her. I pray all tribes should re-unite as one, so we may protect the planet and live in harmony. Within you, without you.

The Spirit that moves in all Things

Often times when I write or speak, I mention "the spirit that moves in all things." Sometimes I say to my friends. "Go talk to the wind." or "Listen To your heart."
These are some of the places that the spirit lives. I guess some people think that the spirit that moves in all things is God. That's OK if they want to call it God. But don't think in terms of the Biblical God. Because that God is perceived of as being far away in Heaven and being distant from you. The Spirit that moves in all things is the spirit which is moving through you and I, nature, and everything that exists. That spirit, is a mountain lions whisker away.

You only need go to the park or some nature area to see and feel evidence of it's existence amplified. It is easy to cross into "spirit's" world if you listen, feel, and experience without preconceived thoughts and notions. You can step into another dimension if your heart and mind are open. Just sit on a stump in the middle of a grove and listen to the wind blowing. Does the wind stir suddenly when a thought or question arises in your mind? Do you talk to that winged creature sitting on the branch? Do you thank Grandfather Sky, and Grandmother earth for each little sign that is revealed to you. Do you connect? Do you connect with other people that connect? Or do you get caught up in the fast paced insanity of the treadmill of life in the big city.

Do you make more time for the two legged friends or acquaintances then you do the four legged's and winged ones. And how about your friends the trees, earth and grass. They will never lie to and mislead you. They will make your heart happy. Watch the squirrels tumble as they play and the listen to the birds chirping a sweet melody. Take a break my friend (mita cola), for the spirit that moves in all things is a healer unequaled. Nature is its preference for a domicile. But it lives everywhere. Its just harder to perceive in the concrete jungle man has created for himself. Some people don't even feel the spirit when they are in nature because they are still carrying the concrete mentality with them. Take a break get away from "The Others" and realize that when you feel the spirit that moves in all things, that spirit moves in you also. Sometimes we need a gentle reminder to get back in tune with that which is our lifeline, and our bliss.

Now this is just simply beautiful. You are so gifted with the written word. Funny..when I was a child I would lay and 'listen' to the wind. I never talked to the wind....I guess I need to get busy! Just a lovely insight my friend

Van Morrison does a song and the lyrics say...'Everything was made of God'... a beautiful tune I always cry when I listen to it. The truth can be such a beautiful thing!
verse from song; You brought it to my attention that everything was made in God
Down through centuries of great writings and paintings
Everything lives in God
Seen through architecture of great cathedrals
Down through the history of time
Is and was in the beginning and evermore shall ever be.....

The photos are beautiful and compliment your powerful message. Excellent pairing!
blessings!
