Giving and Receiving

I have recently had the privilege to experience generosity, support, and donations from various people, who have received benefit from my thoughts and council. I want to thank them! Some have been through incredible adversity. For the record, adversity sometimes brings out the best in people. The times are trying, and situations difficult. I am very happy people have been contacting me for an exchange of healing energy. Their donations and support allow me to help them and others, but I always will and have helped, regardless.

The nation and world finds itself in circumstances that are putting a lot of pressure on the "family" of man in general. And that is exactly what we all are, "family!" Those who are "perceptive" on a spiritual level realize that the current monetary situation which has and will affect us all, is an awakening of sorts.

This awakening comes through the realization that the pursuit of money (the green frog skin) is not what this existence is all about. Greed and living the so-called high life at the expense of others has opened a Pandora's box, and is bringing realization and enlightenment regarding what is really important in life. Just because the people in power have created chaos by their greed, doesn't mean that we as the "family"(all of my relations) have to follow suit.

This is the very time when we should realize that the tradition of the "give-away" in Native American tradition is exactly what is going to heal and help all concerned. Giving comes in many forms. Giving of love, compassion and understanding, and sharing on a monetary level. We need to all "hold hands" and walk the "red road" together.

Its amazing to me that the media and others keep bombarding us with bad news and negativity on the one hand, while on the other they are still trying to tell us to go out pursue the temporary fix of material mind excitation. The talking heads tell us how bad and dire things are, and the commercials tell us to go out and take a trip to the Caribbean, or buy the latest S.U.V. or other pricey possesion.

The whole system is based on the rich riding on the backs of the poor. Go out and work hard, pay your taxes, and stay on the treadmill, and then lose everything including your retirement, house, and nest egg in a blink of an eye. This was never intended for us by great spirit. The intention was for us to live in accordance with grandmother earth and to receive her bounty. Each man should have or "live under his own vine and fig tree."

So what do we do now? We ban together and form circles of friends who re-establish the practice of the natural order of life. We should give from the heart and we will receive from great spirit, through others. Give possessions, love, or just good thoughts to others. It feels damn good and is a healing in itself. Its no wonder things are the way they are when some relinquish their personal power, spirit, and soul, to those who have no soul. I have enormous empathy for my brothers and sisters suffering. It doesn't help to be stuck in the anger mode at those who may have caused this mess, or ourselves for buying into it. Love is required and necessary all the way around. Look at this as an event that could be the best thing that ever happened.

Start today, and experience this incredible good feeling of the experience of giving, loving, and feeling compassion for others. There is nothing in this world that we can take with us into the next except our spiritual evolution. I will continue to give to others through my writing energy, and whatever else I can come up with. I just want you all to know that I am thankful for your trust, and positive energy in whatever form it takes. The fact that you read and consider my thoughts, helps me fulfill what I consider to be my purpose in life.
